‘I don’t know what he can’t do’ German announces about possible £77M Chelsea signing
German International Timo Werner has heaped praise on Chelsea transfer target Josko Gvardiol.
Chelsea have spent some serious money this transfer window and signed so many talented young players – that they now have over 30 members in that first team squad.
However – there spending looks set to continue as a number of players are still being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge – and Gvardiol is one of those players that Ted Boehly is reportedly interested in.
Gvardiol has been making all the right noises in the game over the past few seasons and is a man that is tipped to become one of the best – and that is why he is currently valued at £77 million.
Former Chelsea forward Werner admits he is sometimes blown away by Gvardiol in training and says it comes as no surprise that elite European clubs have expressed interest in signing him.
Asked what it’s like facing his RB Leipzig team-mate Gvardiol in training, Werner told Bild: ‘So it’s not fun!
‘He can shoot left and right, pass, cross and hit diagonal balls. I don’t know what he can’t do. He’s very fast and at only 20 years old has a body like I’ve never seen before.
‘What I find most important about him: he is incredibly friendly, polite, down-to-earth and therefore completely clear-headed.
‘I can understand why everyone wants him.’

Gvardiol is a very talented defender that has ability to play for a top club – but if Chelsea really are keen on getting a deal done – they will. And they will be prepared to pay whatever it takes.
